Royal Opera House performance

As part of our continuing exploration of the marvels of Sufi music, Royal Opera House Muscat invites you to an evening boasting performers from several of the nations that are home to this diverse cultural form. The performing artists include Najmuddin Saifuddin and Brothers, performing in the compelling Pakistani Qawwal Bachchay style, melding voices with the harmonium and tabla. They are the sons of the famed Ustad Bahauddin Khan Qawwal and their family have been attached to Sufi orders for seven centuries, and heralded at home and abroad for the contribution of their music to the Sufi culture. 

Starts at 7.30 PM but doors close at 7.00 PM
